Job Description
Experience and Educational Requirements

Duties (including but not limited to):
- Run the Front Desk smoothly and efficiently
- Provide the finest and most courteous service possible
- Run the Front Desk as an information control center
- All activity information
- All suggestions, requests/complaints can be cheerfully processed and directed to the correct person
- Staff and member messages
- Enforce the policies and procedures of the clubs
- Must fully understand and operate computer systems
- Handle all incoming calls
- Greet everyone that comes in the front door
- Check in members and verify membership
- Register guests and collect fees
- Register potential members and set them up with a tour, or personal trainer as needed
- Take appointments for all areas of the club
- Promote, register and collect all fees for:
- Leagues, tournaments, clinics, etc.
- Specialty fitness classes and workshops
- All special events
- Actively sell pro shop merchandise
- Sell tanning packages; keep tanning rooms clean
- Sell and keep supplied all snack and drink items
- Handle membership payments, new memberships, renewals, and cancellations
- Direct account questions to Manager
- Handle rental of equipment
- Keep desk and lobby area tidy and clean at all times
- Do required cleaning and extra cleaning projects
- Keep supplies and Front Desk copies stocked at all times
- Miscellaneous work as assigned by managers
Supervision
- Supervision is provided by Operations and General Manager
Kid’s Club
Job Description

- CPR certification required. Employer will help obtain certificate

Duties
- Check in all children as they come into Kid’s Club
- Ask for child(ren)’s first and last name
- Ask if they are new make sure the have an all-inclusive membership
- Provide the finest and most courteous service possible
- Create an atmosphere where children enjoy coming and parents are comfortable leaving their children
- Take care of the children while they are in the Child Center:
- Play games with the children: participating in pre-planned crafts
- Read stories to the children
- Be certain that dangerous objects such as scissors, small toys, broken toys, pens and pencils, cleaning supplies, etc. are not accessible to the children
- Place the toys that have been in the mouth of a child in the “dirty toys” container so they are washed. This will help control the spread of germs
- Monitor the health of the children. If there is a question of their being in good health, speak to the Manager on duty
- Keep Kid’s Club clean and orderly – as best you can while children are playing
- Assure every child has a signed rules sheet, allergy and medical sheet and grandparent permission slip completed before being left in Kid’s club
Supervision
- Kid’s Club staff will be responsible for following the direction of the Front Desk Supervisor/Kid’s Club Supervisor
Shifts Hours
- Sartell Location: Monday-Saturday 8-12pm and Monday-Friday 4-8pm Closed Sundays and Holidays
Housekeeping / Cleaning
Job Description
Sta-Fit Housekeepers are vital members of the gym team. They ensure that the facility is clean and meets the expectations of members. Housekeepers will be responsible for any combination of light cleaning duties on the gym floor, locker rooms, pool area and offices. Housekeepers work under the direction of the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- At least three (3) months experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
- At least three (3) months customer service experience desired; experience in hospitality or health clubs is a plus
- Must be responsible
- Must have a strong desire for cleanliness and an eye for detail
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Must have excellent organization, interpersonal and time management skills
- Must be able to work both with and without direct supervision
Housekeepers perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain gym and offices, in a clean and orderly manner.
Duties
- Clean inside and outside glass
- Organize seating area
- Clean mirrors throughout gym
- Wipe down equipment
- Clean rubber flooring below and around equipment
- Empty trash receptacles daily
- Sweep and mops floor/stairwell/staircase
- Clean carpets and floors as needed
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms (tile, tub, walls and sink), mirrors and glass
- Dust furniture and fixtures daily
- Clean the management office daily
- Mop and sweep lobby floors
- Clean and sanitize the locker room(s)
- Maintain and organize mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners and other equipment/supplies in good condition in designated storage areas
- Picks up debris on carpet and vacuum carpet
- Replace or adds required supplies in locker rooms and on the gym floor
- Stock carts with linens and supplies and organize cart
- Clean pool area daily; including floor maintenance
- Report maintenance problems in an accurate and timely manner
Personal Trainer / Coach
Job Description

Sta Fit is currently searching for enthusiastic, passionate and outgoing individuals to be added to our growing personal training team! The position of Personal Trainer/Alloy group training coach consists of performing both one-on-one personal training sessions as well as small and large group training sessions. The overall objective is for the individual to create, grow and retain a complete training clientele schedule. It is preferred that the individual have experience with both one-one-one training sessions and/or group training. Alloy group training education and programming will be provided during the hiring process. Individuals must have a flexible schedule in the initial stages.
Compensation:
- 34-40% of one-on-one sessions
- $20-$30/session for group personal training
- Additional commissions earned on personal sales
- Fixed hourly compensation for professional development
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Personal Training and CPR/AED required (Personal training certification to be obtained within 60 days of employment)
- Recognized certifications: NASM, ACE, ACSM, CSSC, NCCPT, NETA
- Personal training and/or group training experience preferred
- Sales and marketing experience preferred but not required
